I love a happy customer! This sweet gal was nice enough to send me a photo of my Crane/Moon art print hanging in her home alongside other art & decor lovelies! She also created an Etsy Treasury featuring my work.
Thanks, Lena!

Finch & Willow Standard Ink Color Library *COMPLETE!* (Finally!) This took a while, and it involved multiple screen calibrations, Process test prints, a new Pantone Color Bridge Guide, Envelope color matching, and web color matching!
Here it is looking nice and simple. The colors all have PMS, CMYK, & Hexadecimal “equivalents,” and even their own F&W Color code and descriptive names.
Loving this photo, as I edit the Keating/Apen wedding. The bride has just put her dress on, and her sister - the Matron of Honor - is taking it all in and tearing up. Even as I was focusing in on the bride’s necklace being put on, I could see the emotion in my peripheral, and that *always* makes me tear up too! :’)

So…I made a wedding dress (!!!) for a favorite friend & client, JennyBunnyBunns.
This was an enormous & complicated task, but now that it’s finished I can look back at it and say I’m glad I did it (and I even had fun!). Strangely this is often how I feel after I have coded a website. Not exactly fun times when you’re in the nitty-gritty of it, but afterwards you feel so accomplished! I think that’s one of the beautiful things in life that I most appreciate: Hard work & creativity go hand in hand.
Jenny & Jason got married Sunday, March 21st. Congratulations!
My home studio is on unhappyhipsters.com! Haha :)
(The photo is from when the house was in Dwell Magazine in 2003. Here’s a recent photo I took after we had our bamboo hardwoods & raised livingroom platform installed - taken from my studio, which is what you see above the balcony in the Dwell photo: on Flickr)
It was hard to tell if social networking had instilled an instinct to compulsively pose, or if there was actually a photographer at the end of the living room.

I got this quite a while ago, but never posted a picture. I am still in love with it! My Saarinen style Tulip table. I call it my Conference Table.
