this show is going to be great in so many ways!
01: i’m a big fan of both GASOLINE HEART + DAMION SUOMI. my husband, MATT MALPASS, recorded them both at our studio, marigolds+monsters.
02: i did the artwork for DAMION’S album (you probably saw my work in progress on this very blog)!
03: the show is also going to be my very *first* ART show! i’ll be debuting some new work that you’ve never seen, and it will be available for sale. a portion of the art sales at this show go to the VALENTINO ACHAK DENG FOUNDATION (to help rebuild schools in sudan).
04: this show is also the launch of my friend chad’s new record label, and with your admission of 2+ cans of food, you’ll receive a free compilation featuring GASOLINE HEART, DAMION SUOMI, MIKE DUNN, and more.
