Happy Belated Damion Suomi Day! Check out a sample of the design I did for Damion Suomi’s first release, which was recorded at marigolds+monsters studio.
The design was created to represent the night & day / dark & light / drunk & sobered theme that plays out in Damion’s music. In the example shown, you can see the “light” side, in which our protagonist, the crab (cancer) is shot with an Archer Woman’s arrow. He sails on a Finnish ship.
The design is currently being featured on www.Volcano-Type.de in their Fonts In Use section. The type I used is called “Fraktendon” (…which I agonized over, and I’m so glad I chose it!)
